Today everything got real. I mean it. Real!
My loan application was approved.
Norwegian citizens don’t have to worry about study fees. They loan the money from a governmental institution and pay it back once they start working. This is pretty normal in the Northern Countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland).
However, I still have the Portuguese citizenship. In other words, I can get a loan (in the same terms as any other Norwegian student) if certain requirements are met. These differ depending on one’s nationality and family background.
I have been working for over 2 years in order to meet all their requirements.
Nevertheless, it was all worth it!
Today I got an official approval. My dream would never become true without completing this last huge step.
Yay! Weeeeeeeeee!
